We worship together outdoors AND online.
We are blessed to serve you!

November 15, 2020

A beautiful day outside today, about 78-80 degrees with a cool, but not cold or blustery wind.
God is Good!
Church outdoors in this time is appreciated.

And...we had coffee for everyone this morning!
Hope you can make it next week...think about what YOU are THANKFUL for.

Of course we continue to keep uploading the sermon and providing the YouTube versions of the songs that we sang during worship today.  So even if you cannot join us, we'd still like to pray for you.
Give us a call or email Pastor Harvey at harvey.hpcc@gmail.com to request prayer.

COVID-19 Protocols in Our Church

Yes!  We are still meeting outside.
Here are some photos of what our outdoor worship area
looks like before the folks show up.
We hope to see YOU in one of these social distanced chairs with us soon!

This weekend we have prepared a worship page for you that includes...
Thursday Night's Bible Study PowerPoint AND the Zoom meeting recording.

The topic was "Forgiveness" from Matthew 18:21-35

The Children's Sunday School Lesson from Mrs. Denise...
God Makes and Keeps an Awesome to Abraham

We have  great YouTube versions of Christian Hymns and contemporary songs that we sang today...

And we traveled to Bethesda in the Gospel of John, Chapter 5.  We Jesus working a mighty miracle to all there.  Let's always remember that Jesus is STILL the God of Miracles.

We hope this continues to bless YOU and draws you closer to God.

Remember, Denise and I are a phone call away if you want to pray together or just chat.
(Also remember that God is NOT far away, He has promised that He would never leave us - can I get an "Amen"!)

And don't forget to comment below about anything that we can help you with.
Or any conversation you would like to start.

Thanks for all of your support!
For Him and His Kingdom,
Pastors Harvey & Denise

2020-11-12- Adult Mid Week Bible Study

The Marks of a Christian - Forgiveness - Matthew 18:21-35

Forgiveness...
What is it for real?
How does it affect MY life today?
Is this an archaic term, or is REALLY possible today to forgive others that wrong me?
Why would I want to forgive anyone, anyway?

Take a peek at our Mid-Week Bible Study to see what God's Word says about that and our discussion.

We love you, and would LOVE for you to join us next week at Bible study.

Remember, if you missed our meeting, you can view it below AND please sign up below to get updates and notices of the next meeting.  See you on Zoom!

If you are NOT part of our on-line Thursday Night Bible Study, you can take care of that now.

Two easy ways to join.  Each week we will send the ZOOM link via text and email.

After singing a couple of songs, then as a congregation we read together aloud the following scripture...

I John 5:13-31 (NASB)
This is Written That You May Know...

1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves the child born of Him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and follow His commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

4For whoever has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.

5 Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

7 For there are three that testify:

8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

9 If we receive the testimony of people, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son.

10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.

11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

12 The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.
