We worship together outdoors AND online.
We are blessed to serve you!
November 22, 2020
A beautiful day outside today, about 78-80 degrees with a cool, but not cold or blustery wind.
God is Good!
Church outdoors in this time is appreciated.
And...we had coffee for everyone this morning!
Hope you can make it next week...think about what YOU are THANKFUL for.
Of course we continue to keep uploading the sermon and providing the YouTube versions of the songs that we sang during worship today. So even if you cannot join us, we'd still like to pray for you.
Give us a call or email Pastor Harvey at firstname.lastname@example.org to request prayer.
Ongoing COVID-19 Protocols in Our Church
Yes! We are still meeting outside.
Here are some photos of what our outdoor worship area
looks like before the folks show up.
We hope to see YOU in one of these social distanced chairs with us soon!
This weekend we have prepared a worship page for you that includes...
Thursday Night's Bible Study PowerPoint AND the Zoom meeting recording.
The topic was "Consideration" from Romans 14:4-17
The Children's Sunday School Lesson from Mrs. Denise...
God Finds a Wife for Isaac
We have great YouTube versions of Christian Hymns and contemporary songs that we sang today...
We took a bread from the Gospel of John this week. Actually we are breaking from the Gospel of John for a few weeks as we go into Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. We will pick it back up again after the first of the year.
So what we did today was remind ourselves of all the things that we can be thankful for, even in the midst of this current COVID-19 crisis. As you make your way through our post and check out the message from today, try to think of the the things and people in your life that have made a positive difference in your life; and be truly grateful for those...And don't forget to thank God! (Can I get an "Amen").
As a matter of fact, if you'd like to share what you are thankful for in the comments. Please do!
We hope this continues to bless YOU and draws you closer to God.
Remember, Denise and I are a phone call away if you want to pray together or just chat.
(Also remember that God is NOT far away, He has promised that He would never leave us - can I get an "Amen"!)
And don't forget you can comment below about anything that we can help you with.
Or any conversation you would like to start.
Thanks for all of your support!
For Him and His Kingdom,
Pastors Harvey & Denise

After singing a couple of songs, then as a congregation we read together aloud the following scripture...
All People Exhorted to Praise God.
A Psalm for Thanksgiving...
1 Shout joyfully to the Lord,
all the earth.
2 Serve the Lord with jubilation;
Come before Him with rejoicing.
3 Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving,
And His courtyards with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
5 For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting
And His faithfulness is to all generations.
